My coworker and I were chatting about family meals, and what we thought about the food we grew up on. She was raised eating a piece of fruit with, or after, every meal. What a great practice to have! For some people, eating the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables each day can be a challenge, and I too have had my troubles with fitting in balanced meals.
If you think about it, this simple rule of thumb that would really help curb a sweet-tooth, enhance fiber intake, and load you up on all the great vitamins that fruits possess. Do you eat your recommended amount of fruits and veggies everyday?
