Weekend Love

It's Wednesday already and I haven't gotten around to posting about last weekend - sorry! In case you didn't know, I went to Cleveland for a Bachelorette party and Wedding shower for my best friend from high school - It was great to fill up on her wonderful energy, and as an added bonus, I had time to spend with my mother and grandfather as well... Sometimes all you need in life is a healthy dose of love from those that know and accept you - flaws and all.

S'More Time

This weekend, John and I went to his aunts for a family Mothers Day get-together. The food and company was amazing and we made yummy s'more's, which are my absolute favorite treat!

John's little cousins spent most of their time dropping marshmallows on the ground, and repeating the S'more quote from one of my favorite movies Sandlot - here it is if you want to check it out:)

Weekend Pasta Project

Weekend Time - Here is a pasta project if you need something to do :) 

Brown Rice Dressed Up

Yesterday, I made a version of this rice with dinner, and John thought I was a genius... Right then, I (conveniently) forgot to mention that I got the idea for the dish off  Easy Peasy Organic... OPPS! When I made it, I used slivered almonds and dried cranberries - it was so easy to put together, and will be making an appearance on our table regularly - seriously, you should try it!

Granola Cookies

Have you ever had Granola cookies? I randomly thought about how awesome it would be to add granola into cookies - so I googled it and found this yummy recipe! Cannot wait to make these this weekend! 

Back From Cleveland

We are back from Cleveland and had an amazing time! I cannot believe how much family and friends time we had - It was also beautiful out and you could not ask for a better day to get married.

Family Wedding Time

John and I will be leaving for my cousins

 Wedding tomorrow - it's in Cleveland, and most of my Fathers side will be there (he was one of ten and we have 32 cousins and counting). I am so excited to be around loved ones - I just cannot wait!!
